Emily R. Rubin

Emily has practiced civil litigation and family and matrimonial law since 1998. She received a Master of Business Administration degree, conferred with distinction, from Adelphi University in 1989. Thereafter, Emily worked in public relations and artist management in the music industry. She was an Articles Editor from 1996-1997 for the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law while attending the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University.

In 1998, Emily was admitted to the State Bars of New York and New Jersey and, in 1999, to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.  Emily has worked in the offices of several prominent New York City matrimonial attorneys before joining Garr Silpe, P.C. in 2010.  Emily resides in Westchester County with her husband and children.  She plays tennis and volunteers for local political causes and the Humane Society of Westchester.
